Diwali (Deepavali) is called the festival of lights celebrated all over India and most parts of the world, signifying the victory of good over evil as per Indian mythology. FICQ has been celebrating the Diwali Festival in Brisbane since 2010, promoting harmony and multiculturalism. More than 15,000 people all over Brisbane and other parts of Queensland attend the event annually, signifying the success of the festival over the years.

It is our immense pleasure to invite you all to our iconic event Diwali Indian Festival of Lights on Sunday 22 November 2020 at Brisbane City Hall. We will be delighted for your attendance at the Diwali Celebration - a significant multicultural calendar event. The function will start with traditional Indian reception between 05.30 pm to 07.30 pm AEST.

Due to the COVID19 situation, the participation at the venue is strictly by invitation only. Please send your request to secretary@ficq.org.au to attend the event in person.
